This wooden box was purchase at an estate sale. Etched is a name of Joseph Bigg or Biggerd. Can not make it out exactly. Also etched is numbers and letters including PVI (Pennsylvania Volunteer Army ). Piece of dark blue cloth 2/1/2' x 3 1/2". A picture cut out of Eagle and Flag and a confederae One Dollar Bill. Also is a cut out picture of John A Logan Born 1826. Box is in very nice clean condition. I believe it is pine. Has a metal latch/nail. I am not sure of authenticity of any items. Not sure what purpose this box served. I used it to hold photo cards. Makes a nice display piece. I also have kept an American Flag folded in it for display.
